Hello Andy. This has been a dilemma for me too. I was a vegetarian but found that friends and family found it a challenge to cater for me. So my solution has been to adopt a ‘begging bowl diet’ – (which is what I’ve come to call it).
When I’m invited out, I eat whatever is put before me. But at home or in restaurants or where there is a buffet and I have a choice – I choose a vegetarian meal. Now I am seriously considering becoming vegan but will be keeping my ‘b b’ diet and so I don’t suppose anyone else will notice that I’m no longer eating cheese and eggs etc.
