A sentence that struck me is about aligning oneself to deeper currents of life to maintain our balance and also allowing whatever is sown time to evolve more naturally. I really try to plant vertuous seeds but the quality of my ‘watching’ them grow is where i found the patience is not so good, a restlessness more than an ego obstacle. Sure there is always ego involved but it is sort of my natural ‘frequency’ and the influence of modern life, like the Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, “i’m late, I’m late for a very important date!” But the more I slow down the more I appreciate that the quality of the experience is richer and I keep being surprised by new events and other people inputs, even the negative can morph and teach me and enrich my insight.
